Lasagna

Classic Lasagna

Ingredients:

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. In a 9x13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom. Arrange a layer of cooked lasagna noodles on top.
  5. Spoon half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
